it's spring time, and i'm already too hot at near 90 degrees. the wind was blowing gently that evening. there were families on chairs or blankets everywhere. face painted kids running around playing tag, dancing with parents, friends or grandparents. they were throwing footballs and kicking soccer balls. while the dove hunters played. too bad we got there right before they finished, and didn't get to see the bands we intended. i guess free outdoor family shows aren't like the shows we pay to see that play late into the night or in bars where the music doesn't start until after 9 or 10 pm.
